The design stage is the detailing and development of the garden design ideas discussed on-site into a design concept plan providing an overall image of the finished garden. Included is a plan view of the project, perspective sketches of key areas, material suggestions such as paving or tiling elements and finally suggestions for plant material. Each garden design concept package includes sample images of the proposed works and an estimate of the cost to implement the design.
We’re one of Sydney’s leading landscape architecture consultancies. Our team of landscape architects have gained a reputation for challenging the traditional separation between natural and built environments. If the proposed scope of works requires an application to council, a qualified and experienced Landscape Architect will document the concept plans for construction and prepare the supporting documentation. A detailed quote with options is then prepared for your consideration.
Our team have crafted some of the most spectacular garden and landscape designs in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. From small courtyard projects in Paddington to sprawling waterfront properties in Dover Heights, our landscapers will transform your property and bring your ideas to life. Looking for inspiration? Explore this large Paddington family home, where we had to carefully consider all aspects of landscape garden design to make the most of the available space. With a split deck and two-tier garden to cater for the natural slope, our landscapers were able to maximise the space and create plenty of room for entertaining and play – perfect for all the family.Read More
The Think Outside Garden team had the chance to work on some amazing projects in Sydney’s Northern Beaches; none better than this beachside delight in Palm Beach. A sophisticated combination of natural stone, cedar and sand coloured paint allow the built element to sit comfortably among the tall eucalyptus. After careful consideration for the home’s structure, we demolished the redundant pool to create a finished product that was ideal for entertaining throughout the year.Read More
The Hills District has some of the most rich and diverse terrain Sydney has to offer, and our landscape designers have been fortunate to work on some of the best homes in the area. Take this contemporary garden design in Castle Hill where we were afforded a generous plot of land in order to landscape the perfect garden for a young family. Strategically placed screen planting was installed around the perimeter of the garden for privacy and our landscapers created layers of tropical plants that could thrive in the summer heat to ensure this became the perfect private oasis.Read More
