Working closely with our client this terrace home was renovated both inside and out with materials and finishes that brought the residence up to date whilst respecting the traditional style of architecture.
By opening the rear of the house with new steel framed windows and doors, a sense of space was created, connecting the home with the garden areas. Existing elements of a large sandstone rock outcrop and old brick wall above create a backdrop for more contemporary new features such as a Pizza oven, built in outdoor kitchen and crisp white planters.
Lovely soft pink, purple and silver accent colours in the planting palate are used confidently to create interest and depth without overpowering the space. Layers of perennials and deciduous trees create year round interest and allow winter light to penetrate while a synthetic lawn provides a low maintenance lawn solution.
